Restorative Justice Council
The Restorative Justice Council (RJC) are an independent membership body, responsible for the oversight of restorative practice. As such, the RJC promote quality in restorative practice, provide quality assurance in setting clear practice standards and offer a national voice in advocating awareness, accessibility and public confidence in the delivery of restorative justice.
The RJC award the Restorative Service Quality Mark (RSQM) to RJ services recognised as having met the required standards of high quality in restorative practice. The award demonstrates recognition and confidence in the service’s ability to provide safe, quality delivery and an external accreditation against the six restorative service standards. Restorative Cleveland are proud to hold the RSQM, successfully obtained in 2018.
